wsop 1k

well today went kinda weird, but not unstandard for me.

built a nice stack early, then kinda stuck there for most of day, then with 20 min left and about 20 BBs, i opened/called a shove with AQ. ran into kk and was left with 2 BBs at 400/800.

all the assholes were stalling so i couldnt play many hands in last 20 minutes and most pots were opened b4 me and i had shit like 52o, still i doubled a few times and get to start day 2 on monday with a whole 5k at 500/1000.

anyways what a weird day, i must had doubled like 10 ppl, got sucked out on many times (i did run hot early, winning 3 big flips though), and got coolered a few, including 1st level KK into AA (thankfully i had picked up several pots b4 that hand).

im kinda bummed im gonna miss the 1500 plo on monday to play a 5 BB stack. oh well, maybe i will get lucky.

i really didnt want to mention this, but i guess i will. but im leaving out details because i want to.

me and the GF both have been having some medical issues, so i have barely been playing. i dont want to get into the details, but the worst has been ruled out for us both, so thats good.

still been playing a lot of xbox, where stress doesnt cost me money.

but as far as the worst being ruled out for us both, we just got the news for each of us on thurs (even though the docs still dont know wtf is wrong with me, and to get the GF repaired may very likely still cost me about ~15k), so the timing is perfect for the wsop.

im ready to start playing again, now i know we arent dieing anytime soon (hopefully).

anyways, im def playing the 1k wsop when i wake up (going to bed soon).

i just downloaded my hand history for my 1st big score (16k, 6 months into my poker career, early 2006) that shows how i luckboxed sick playing shitty to give me my bankroll to learn and move up, and eventually allowing me to get to where i am today poker wise.

i will prob post that HH for fun later.

i been running terrible at final tables and blowing chip leads at them all and its frustrating.

at least im doing ok in sats. though, i am playing a lot of them.

FTP, WSOP.

well FTP's synced breaks for the MTTs are def an overdue addition and they are very awesome.

i cant speak for others but i know stars will lose money from me, just because i want to have breaks.

however FTP will also loose a bit of money from me because not all MTTS will go on break, they have a small set of rules that make some MTT's skip their 1st break, and with my schedule i would have 1 most hours. if i quit stars, that means i have to play 45 mans again, some of which will also miss the 1st break. all the super turbo tourneys i have been playing miss the 1st break, a tourney that it is very retarded to sit out in, so its either miss breaks or not play them...

so i guess until FTP adjusts the schedule or changes the rules to make all tourneys go on break, (regardless of when they start) i will just play several less tourneys per day.

i am pretty sure stars will end up syncing their breaks too, as it only makes sense, and ftp will prob fine tune their system as well. BUT breaks are awesome.

i won my WSOP seat on saturday and also made a pretty good score in another tourney.

i havent been playing much online, but i plan to start up again, prob play both sat and sun. gonna try to put in a decent volume up till wsop, hopefully i can win a seat or more.

i been running absolutely terrible in the live tourneys i been playing, pretty sick. guess i knew it had to come, it just sucks i couldnt win one while running hot.

while on the video game subject.... i was playing fallout 3 which was pretty cool, but way to easy... one of these days i might play it again, just bump the difficulty settings up a bit. but i just saw today, that new extra content is available to download, looks way better than the last 2 add-ons. even bumps the max level to 30. :)

still fooling around with mybrute, i have multis and shit. i might be getting bored of it a bit, but not sure. you guys can challenge mybrutes if you like...

im really not sure why i should do it, besides the fact that the ppl involved are good poker players and seem to be nice.
