the chop, and tomorrow....
the chop at the Bellagio... chopping is something i never ever like to do, and this was the 2nd time i have ever chopped.
we had 5 players left, the biggest stack had 151k, i had 149k, 3rd guy had like 135k, next dude had 100k, short guy had like 60k (i think).
under normal circumstances i never chop here, but blinds were 2000/4000, and the 2 big stacks were pretty good players and one was very loose aggressive. and the 2 shorter guys were playing to tight, so we were gonna have big pots with shorties waiting us out. i struggle with big stack verses real aggressive players. also, i used to not need the money, and now i do. i used to not need poker money to pay my bills and lately if it wasn't for poker, my mortgage would not be paid.
i still kind of regret chopping, because i think i could had won... but then i remind myself i needed the money and i just won like 3 coin flips, and i could easily lose the next 1 or 2 with the short stacks.
---
as for tomorrow, i am almost positive i will be playing the $1500 WSOP event.
not sure if i will see him tomorrow, but thanks CC
for the updates and pictures, very awesome man.

wsop didnt work out so well. but good news.
i busted pretty quick at day 2, probably in about 20 minutes or so. i raised 1st in on the button, mueller was in the big blind and was threatening me while i was counting my chips "you already took to long". i still raised to about 11k with blinds 1500/3000 -500, with A9. small blind instantly reraised me for most of my stack (mueller folded and laughed "told you, you were taking to long"), he had over 100k, i had just over 40k. i felt i was priced in and put all my chips in the pot.
small blind had 33, flop came 838, GG me. was a big pot, and i win this flip, i am sitting nice... oh well.
afterwords, i grabbed some nachos from the poker kitchen, and waited for a few friends to come on over. me and ZaiGezunt sat in a 2/5nl game, which we both killed. we ran very hot, i took an extra $1400 off of table and he took about $1800 in about 2 or 3 hours.
we then decided to go play the bellagio $1k nightly. it was me, Zai, and Mag: they both donked out early. i got bad beat with about 13 players left to lose a big chunk of my stack JJ to A8 all in pre. then same guy open shoved a few hands later and i had AQ, so i shoved, dude behind me also shoved. open shover had KK and over shove/caller, had AQ as well. KK held, and i was crippled.
i stole blinds a few times, then i made the final table, and got UTG just as i paid the big blind last hand. so after i pay the extra blinds, i have maybe 4 big blinds at final table. 10 left and 9 pay. i played perfect SNG strategy, picked up blinds a few times real fast. and again the next round. then i won a coin flip with 5 big blinds... and won another, started catching some cards, next thing i knew i was in 2nd place with 146k and 5 players left. they offered a 5 way chop, which i accepted for almost $22k.
so all in all a fun and a nicely profitable day.

Event 29 Update and Pictures
Sucko here once again. A quick update, Stoner is deep in another WSOP Event. What a sicko!
He has 40,000 in chips with 118 left and blinds at 800-1600 and a 200 chip ante. Top 81 cash and he is looking very solid to go deep again. He was knocked down to 4200 a while ago but has made a furious comeback. Hellmuth has just been moved to his table too. Should be a fun finish to the night.
Thanks to CC at Pokerworks for some pictures of the Champ...

WSOP Event 15, Day 2
Sucko here again. I will be providing updates for sprstoner. Hopefully with a final table in the works.
*******************************************
Coolered again!! So rigged. With 75k and the blinds at 3k/6k, he jammed AKs from the cutoff and obv the BB has Aces. Nasty. Out in 68th for a very nice $8,251 pay day. 68th out of 2,628 in a WSOP tourney is definitely quite and accomplishment. Great job Stoner!!
*******************************************
Great first level for the champ. He doubled against a big stack with AK vs Jacks. The board was pretty sick: A Q 10 J 4. A bit later he lost a 25k flip with QJs vs 88. He made it to the break with 82k having the rest of the table covered.
Blinds are going up to 2k-4k, so there should be plenty of action after break. Looks like there is about 120 left with the average stack at about 65k.
They arent allowing text messaging at the table, so the only updates will probably be on the breaks.
8,251

WSOP Event 10: 2K NL
Sucko here. I will be providing updates for sprstoner as he owns this event.
*******************************************
BAH!!! AK in the cutoff runs into KK in the small blind, WSOP is rigged. GG Shawn!
*******************************************
Quick Update: WOOOT, He doubled early in the level AQ vs AQ, up to 12,675!!!!! WOW!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!
*******************************************
3rd Break: Ugly hand right before break. 200-400, 50 ante. Button limps (gay), SB completes, stoner checks his option in the big blind with 8c2c. Flop comes 8-7-3r. SB leads for 1200, stoner makes it to 3700 to go, button folds and the SB calls. Turn is blank and goes check-check. River is a 9 and it goes check-check. SB shows T-9 and scoops the 9500 chip pot. He is hanging in there though with 7,575. Blinds are going up to 300-600, with a 75 ante so he is going to be gambling soon. I think there is about 450-500 left with the top 153 getting paid.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
*******************************************
2nd Break: Looks like the table got a little tired of getting pushed around. From the champ: "Every opening raise I make has been repopped" in the past two hours. His table broke, so hopefully his next one will have plenty of donks. He is still sitting at 9,300 which I am pretty sure is above average. The blinds are 150-300 with a 25 ante, so he still is sitting strong.
*******************************************
1st Break: Stoner has chipped up to 12,625 without showing down a hand since the last update. He said the table is pretty weak and there is only one other good player at it. A lot of pros all around his table, but he got a good table draw. Hopefully more good news to come later tonight.
*******************************************
Level 1: Stoner gets off to a very nice start with an early double up. His straight flush gets paid off by a bigger flush. He has the chip count at a very nice 8,750, up from the 4,000 starting point.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
For anyone in Vegas or at the RIO, stoner is at Table 116, Seat 1 in the Tent. Stop by and wish him luck.

event 3, my recap
before i recap, I'm gonna mention that i am going to try to play Wednesday's event. i will post if i do.
--
around midnight with about 370 players left i had 17k. blinds just went up to 600/1200/100.
folded to me on button i had AKs, i make it 3k. BB shoves with 7k, i of course call....his TT held. i took blinds a few times, blinded back down etc...
I'm in the cutoff with A4hearts with 6600blinds still same. i shove, button insta calls with AA, i flopped 2 hearts, flush didn't come.
busted aprox 310th, 270 paid.
-
over all, i am very happy with my play, i had 1 questionable hand. and mostly a lot of bad luck, imo.
i lost 3 out of 4 races, i had 9k very early, and became short stacked through most of day , before gaining chips around 10pm. i took 1 bad beat (not crazy bad). and never sucked out on anyone.
i was at about 6 or 7 tables... never had i bounced around so much live.
the questionable hand was: 1st hand at new table, young dude, looked about 19, who had a huge stack, raised UTG, i had AQs, and called in early-mid pos, as did both blinds. utg c-bet flop 347 (i think) i folded, BB re-popped him and he folded. after being at table a while, i notice that UTG guy was raising like 3+ times an orbit. which means i should had re-raised him that AQ hand.
my stack became to short to take advantage of his aggressiveness without a good hand. so i had to really tighten up for a while. i got to table with 10k blinded down to about 7k, before aggr player doubled me up.
i was really confident in this tourney and in my play, was upset i couldn't make it. the player who doubled off of me with TT vs my AK, won like 4 races in 30 min, and had about a 50k stack when i busted. poor aggressive dude, lost about 4 races in a row to bust before i did.
at this last table i had 2 players who i had played with before, and knew their styles. one guy bad beat me at wsop ME last year for a 15k pot, one i chopped 2nd chance wsop tourney last year and played cash with before. had med tight stacks at my table to my left and aggr players to my right with big stacks, was at a great table to finish the night at, just didn't work out this time.
