i did bubble 3 FTs which sucks ass, 1 sick bad beat and 1 sick cooler, and i pretty sure the 3rd was a bad beat too, but cant really remember...

i cashed like everything today, so i was a real disappointed to only make one final table. i cashed 13 tournaments today, which is sick.

here is a 2nd in the 20r i got today.... pretty much embarrassed because i got owned sick HU. guess i deserved 2nd.




so, this make 3 days 3 nice cashes and im feeling good. i also did ok in the 45 mans today but i couldn't play a ton, because i lasted so long in most mtts i played.

i plan on doing good tomorrow too, and im gonna slowly increase my buyins again as my bankroll increases, and hopefully ride a good streak up.

sunday........ tilt like none other..... and then a save.

well..... today started terrible. couldn't get shit going in anything at all. super sick beats, mad coolers, and every time i was short and forced to shove from small blind or button i was running into AA or KK. just super standard... or sick i mean.

so after KK lost to JT about 3 times in 40 min, i was catching myself spewing sick at every table, i just felt massive tilt radiating off of me. i finally said fuck this and just walked away... walked back and forth through the house a bit... hearing my tables beeping wasn't helping. so i went outside and laid in my hammock for like 10 min.

i was feeling a little better, and went back inside. within 15 min i had AA lose to JJ 2 times and to A8s once, but i handled it ok, the lil break actually help a lot.

so the day was so shitty, busted out of the majors fast, bubbled like every 180 and 45 man sng i played, down almost 3k in last 3 days in the 45 mans, which is nasty (esp since they have been my bread and butter). and now it is getting late, finally built a few stacks and only in 5 tourneys still....

at this point i quit registering for the sngs i been playing, and pull up my excel sheet and see if i bust out of the last 5 i am down $2500 on the day. pretty sick... my BR is not nearly big enough to lose that in a day.

so i quickly get fucked out of 4 of the 5 and start feeling a bit tilted again. im still in the 30r and its about bubble time. unfortunately i am pretty sure i am one of the worst guys left... ranked players everywhere.

from the time there were 26 players left till half way through the final table, i put 4 sick beats on those ranked fuckers who always seem to run like god against me. felt so awesome.

was a tough field and hard final table.

i thought i blew this tourney too, i had a huge stack, was the CLer (thanks again FU_15 <3).

so we were pretty deep, prob close to the bubble, the villain was 2 spots to my left, and just won a few pots and was prob 2nd or 3rd in chips. over last 15-20 minutes the villain RR me and i folded a few times. he was a good player, and 3 bets a bit more than average, prob about what most good players do... more than me (i don't 3 bet enough)...

i had T8s either utg or utg+1 with 60 BBs, obv with my stack it is getting raised up. so villain with 50 BBs thinks i am just gonna keep letting him take my opening raises with no resistance and repopped me. i decided i had enough and was gonna show him to leave my raises alone and i obv had plenty of fold equity so i shipped it in. i mean what can he call with?

well, KK for one... thats a great hand to call a huge 4 bet shove with, even on the bubble. oops. not only did i lose a huge pot, but the whole fucking table saw what i opened with in ep and 4 bet with.. not good.

AWESOME flop!!! T98 ..weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! turn 9, dooooh, and i missed river, and now close to the bubble with 12 BBs about ready to go through the blinds... FUCK... i am so fucking good at blowing it late. was so pissed, because yesterday i made final 2 tables 4 times in mtts and 2 times in 180 sngs, and today final 2 tables of 2 mtts and 2 180s before this. sooo sick of getting so deep and fucking (or getting fucked) it all up.


anyways, i got fortunate enough to run hot for a bit and built a stack and became CLer again relatively quick, without FU_15's help as i busted him way earlier.

i held CL for almost entire final table, lost it for a lil bit 3 handed, but got it right back in like 5 min. and i got my 1st win in a long long time, it is small but im still proud of it...

i sux. ironman. bubbly. cereus.

brutal day today. i mean i only lost like 400 but still got so close to a lot of final tables, had huge stacks in a lot of stuff, and just failed everywhere.

got an 11th, 18th, 14th, and a 15th, and that doesn't include the 180 man sngs. so frustrating. such a thin line between bad day and a huge fucking day.

last several days i been losing money or breaking even in the 45 man sngs i love so much, but been doing ok in the 180s.

i just was wondering why im not ironman on ftp, i mean i play alot, and back when i played only sngs i was always ironman. i was thinking, is it possible i just dont play enough? so i went to look, and apparently i was opted out.. wtf, thats weird.

anyways, i was wondering which option has more value, bonus medals or freerolls? i am thinking freerolls because i think they deduct the bonuses you buy from your rake for rakeback, right? do they deduct freeroll winnings too? hmmmm... any thoughts on what is better and why?

the 180 man sngs, more the regulars than the turbos, are the best tournaments to abuse the bubble in my opinion. i mean in the right condition you can abuse any bubble, but in these the right conditions are much more common.

i love RR shoving the tightest guy at the table, then he folds and talks shit to me for not noticing how tight he is, then shove him again the very next time he raises, because he WILL fold again... soo great.



anyways, i guess i had pretty descent hands considering... but these things are sooo fun..

ran very shitty today, but if bad beats weren't enough to tilt me.... there is more... and more than gay fucking Canadian pipes.

i have a new top of the line PC, but for some reason it was taking to long to start up (3 min)... damn vista issues. i was bitching and finally tech support got back top me with a few ideas.

anyways the 1st ideas were to check bios settings.... that didnt fix it, but we found the prob, it was a minor hardware issue.. need new drivers. but we didnt find this until we changed some bios settings.

i have my power settings set to turn off my monitor after 20 minutes of inactivity. the 1st sign of trouble was after my monitors shut off ( i was watching a movie), they would not come back on... moved my mouse , hit buttons on keyboard , nothing. hmmm... whatever, ill leave tech support a message. and then i held my power button in order to shut off my pc, then turn it back on. everything seemed fine......

to avoid the problem i just experienced, i just shutdown my pc when i was done, so i wouldn't have to shut it off that way again (not sure if it could fuck it up or what) in the morning (i usually leave it on for days at a time).

ok, so now i wake up in the morn, boot up the pc and reg for the 20r, feed the dog, make my coffee, call the plumber, and go back to play...

all seems fine, i have prob 10 tables going, then boom, windows crashes... blue screen of death. so i reboot it as fast as i can, get it going again... pull all my tables up, and now all my time banks are empty, which blows... i depend on them playing so many tables.

anyways this shit continued to happen like every 2-3 hours all day. if i would had known the 1st time it was gonna keep happening i would had just quit. guess i thought (or hoped) it was a fluke.

so pretty much all day i had no time banks on many tables and timed out when i shouldn't, and made me feel very rushed. because of no time i was making decisions before i observed the action close enough, and kept catching myself making big mistakes, also timing out a few times with big hands.

i think it might be a big leak that i wont quit when things are going bad....

but pretty much i ran super shitty today, and played bad, and felt tilted all at the same time. i lost close to 1700 today, which basically voids out my best day last week and hurts my month because my numbers were already low.

fortunately i know a little bit about PCs, and i know the error the BSoD gave is usually related to memory issues. i also remember the tech having me change the memory voltage setting and some other memory related settings.. so i changed them back....

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease work, because the tech prob wont get back to me until 3/4ths through my poker day, and then i will be playing (hopefully) and cant be doing reboots and shit.

it has been crashing for the last 4 versions now, the same fucking problem. and a ton of people have the same issue, their forum is filled with ppl telling them they are basically scammers and they want refunds..

well the poker tracker team, says no refunds, and sorry that it isn't working for you guys but 90% of the sales we made had no complaints (obv bullshit) so it must not be that bad.

anyways in case you cant tell, im pissed. i paid for this shit already because they told us we had to lose our databases for the commercial trial version unless we paid, and i thought if it didn't work quite right, it would be fixed in a reasonable amount of time. mainly because before they released the commercial version, it was updated very often with very noticeable fixes.

sooo the commercial version was shit and they go back to betas, and now it gets an update once a month or so which fixes nothing. and all of us who paid definitely feel scammed.

well, apparently the makers of PAhud bought the rights to PT3 and they are the programmers. its not even the same people... so we were scammed imo.

i wonder if there is another program that does what PT3 does. i love their new hud... if it worked without crashing all day.

what a nightmare at my house right now. this plumbing problem is gonna be sickening. it turns out my house was plumbed using a type of pipe involved in a major class action lawsuit (obv made in canada). anyways because of this, repairs are nearly impossible because all vendors quit selling the parts because of liability issues.

soooo, i may have to re-plumb the whole house to fix this leak. and that fucking blows since im already busto.

all in all, i usually do gamble a bit early in these, and if i have a descent amount of chips with 12-15 ppl left, i have sick results, and when i get to the final table, i think the spot i get most is 1st (although last week or so i got a bunch or 3rds and 4ths)... obv running good in these.

i think i been playing about 15 of these a day. i think i love them.

on a roll, but still getting killed in MTTs.

i have had 4 straight up days, only one was a real good day but still its been a long time, feeling a lot better. my profits would be much higher if i wasnt playing MTTs, but i feel that will change too.

i did make 2 final tables yesterday for a 4th and an 8th, making next to nothing. i also final tabled a 180 man sng (i was told i cant count that as a FT though).

today i built some nice stacks in several, i donked off in a few (i call off way to light sometimes -however calling off to light sometimes builds my stack fast too).

in the FTP 109 i was playing super aggressive, but i was also picking up a ton of hands, i ended up 4- betting ppl at my table like 4 or 5 times in about 40 min. had a pretty awesome stack, then i got into a big pot with a dude i doubled earlier. he always was reraising me, and now we both have a lot of chips, i was cutoff he was button. i have AK and obv 4 betting him for like the 3rd or 4th time, he insta calls and i lost the flip :(. not even that deep in the tourney yet, it just sucked to blow my big stack in such an awesome tourney.

in the stars 109, i sucked out a few times late, and was at a very aggressive table. lost a descent sized pot, blinds went up next thing you know im short, ending up open shoving into a big hand and busted 15th :(.

so even though im not making money in MTTs, it seems like as close as i have been getting, i should be able to. i feel i am running better the last few days, so expect me to post a win soon (hopefully a big win).

in other news, i have a gold sharkscope star again.. im 2nd in some leaderboard, and as soon as i get more games under my belt in the 45 mans, i think i may get a 1st.

i had another positive day today, but again only because of multi-table sngs, getting killed in tourneys.

in the nightly 50k on stars i had KK lose 2 times in the final 40 ppl, both good size pots. in one of the earlier $55s on stars i was real deep and i made a stupid play, kind of pissed at myself. today i really struggled building stacks for the most part, but lately i build them then always bust deep... both are frustrating, but getting real deep in many and not making any money is definitely the worse.

this bad run of mine is by far the worst i have ever had and it's pretty much unbelievable. i can never get anything going, ever. im hoping to change that tomorrow, if not i will probably take another day off this weekend.

hopefully i can have some positive tourney stuff to post soon, so its not just poker news stuff that gets posted. lol.

at the end of my last blog post i mentioned a new UB thread on 2+2. i also mentioned it looked liked freddy deeb and russ hamilton may had been part of it. as the thread progressed it looked less likely that deeb (although his account was closed at same time as some superuser accounts) was part of it and more likely russ at a min had knowledge. i am gonna post some screen shots of some of the posts made by Nat.

in this post nat was replying to a guy about the superusers still being involved with the company. and then a 2nd post which was just after they found out the big money transfer account belonged to fred david, the one that transferred to a known superuser and was refunded by hamilton. as you can see he posted a picture of fred and a moderator was requested to remove it and did so.. hmmm... the guilty parties following the thread?



basically i liked this one because it was earlier in the thread and mentioned how he had suspicions about russ, but no good evidence. nat, must have some good circumstantial evidence to say that imo.

shitty few day, descent score tonight, UB update.

this tourney had some very tough players... i guess it usually does. i have no clue why i do good in this and not others. before this score my roi in the ftp's 30r was 142%, the DB hasnt updated for tonights yet.

right around the bubble, i lost a big pot to USCphildo. up till this point i was really holding my own, i mean roothlus and USCphildo were playing back at me a bit, but i was ok. after this pot things just really went down hill and i ended up playing to tight... still almost got there.

when i got to the FT, my stack was obv wasnt great. with the stack situations i pretty much had to play tight and try to be patient and wait for a good spot to play. hopefully finding reshove spots before blinding to the point of open shoving.





i finally got the worst player at the table to put me all in drawing very slim.





now i have some chips to work with, but still in a spot where i cant really open light. obv sucks to have USCphildo right behind me. just gonna try and be patient still.

at this point both me and BEvegas, are both very short and phildo is basically open shoving any chance he gets. i have about 200k, BEvegas has close to 175k, USCphildo at about 1.2 mill. blinds were 10k/20k.

BEvegas was pretty much shoving 1st in any chance he got as well, and for some reason he folded here, and i think i have to shove this pretty hand and get myself and edge over BEvegas. imo just unlucky.

i got very deep in a few others today too. almost FTed the early 30r too, with 15 left i raised in late pos, and one of the blinds shipped on me with Q9 and it beat my AK.. :(. also got deep in the early 10r on stars.. 42/2700. and in the $50 100k on stars, got a 59/2043... also :(.

yesterday i was CLer in the 5r on stars for prob hours. i lost a few pots deep, and with 28 left i made a huge bluff and ran into kk and my oesd missed :(... so shitty to get 28th out of 4194 ppl and only make $121. i was so pissed. i couldnt just play tight and make the FT, i had to go for the fucking gold.

as far as UB goes... some new stuff came out on 2+2 from an employee down at UB. nothing looks to solid yet, but the employee said he was gonna prove that the new management was involved although he has yet to do so.

he posted screenshots and transfer histories that makes it appear freddy deeb was involved. apparently an account used to transfer lots of money, made transfers both to deeb and a known super user. also we apparently have proof deeb's account was shut down at same time as the superuser's. and a few other small things that point that direction. also lots of stuff about Russ Hamilton.

def enough evidence to ask lots more questions. i really hope the employee comes back.. i mean he could get fired or maybe even worse over this. the 2+2 thread was a good read starting at page 8. hopefully more comes out soon.

me, dwal (dave), and tdizzle (todd) met at the p5s party last night. i went last year so i knew what to expect... but it was even more gay this year. its pretty bad when you have free beer, and your party blows.

todd got rammed from behind by doyle brunson (got ran over by his scooter), and proceeded to bring it up 457,385 times over the night.. obv star struck like a 12 yo girl.

dwal (dave or deuche-wall) then showed off his suite at the IP, which i obv compared to the coolest retard, and apparently over used the joke... i mean it is a pretty awesome suite (at the IP...lol), but he didnt even get the canadian sluts up... obv fail. i mean what was the prob, they were canadian, i dont get it. i think dave was to side tracked by who the billy idol impersonator was banging to be on his full game.

dave and todd decided to play BJ which i wasnt gonna do, so i stood around like a retard watching them lose all their money, and observing the ugly hookers working the IP.

we then decided to check out the poker room, they obv got tired of me nagging to go like a lil bitch, or it was because the drunk married chick who was wayyyyy to friendly left the bj table.. not sure.

in the poker room we run into CK who seemed excited to meet deuche-wall as she called him (think she said LJ started it, not sure), which was def awesome and was also way over used for the rest of the night (even though not nearly as much as pony tail jokes). running into CK was prob the highlight of the night, def overall boring night (no offense to CK, she is awesome, but only maybe 20-30 min of the night).... but we learned something weird, strange, maybe even awesome about ck, not sure, but def unique. she apparently is the only asain chick ever to also be jewish and ahmish, i mean, thats fucking wierd, no?

anyways CK had to go, it was either to sleep or move to summerlyn, cant remember, i suck at listening. obv the Ip sucked, so we went to caesars... walking across the street some random dude called me gay, which was def awesome. he was the dude that hassles you to give you free passes to clubs or whatever. for those of you who know me or have met me, you should know clubs arent my thing, but hanging with dave i can understand how this dude got mixed up. anyways he kept asking to get us in some club, i was tying to just ignore him obv and making dumb comments when he wouldnt shutup.. obv following us down the street...not sure why he chose to talk to me over the 2 fags behind me (usually those dudes are smart enough to realize im a local pretty quick). after i finally told him clubs arent my thing, he started tying to get us to go to strip clubs, which are fun (if i wasnt busto and wanted to go to a strip club, i already know where id go) but im broke and we already have a ~plan. not sure what i was saying, i was just saying random shit over and over, to give the guy the hint, to leave me the fuck alone, and im not listening to him..... out of the blue "ahhh, i get it, i can get you into the best gay clubs in town".... was so great, i love being randomly insulted by random ppl.. obv we all bust up laughing as the dude walks off.

we got to caesars, and todd tells his doyle brunson story to like every new guy coming to the table. you know he was just keeping it real.. thugliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife.....lol... the table pretty much sucked, 1/3nl and i was obv the worst guy at the table... well there was one worse guy, but dwal was strangely playing tight. actually one dude put in like 350 pre with Aj and dude's KK held unfortunately, and AJ didnt rebuy :(, played like 5-6 handed all night with tight players, i lost about $60 on the night. which is good for me, because i usually donate sick , esp while drinking... but i was playing weak tight since im busto... i prob fit in as a blogger now. todd was scared of the table, and left soon after we started (it was his idea to go there, i mean the whole night, he never stopping crying about going to caesars -so gay). i left at ~4am. dave went to the low stakes horse table which charged $5 per 30 min time, and got in 17 hands an hour. he had to do something as sleeping isnt an option for sicko gamblers on their last night in town.

on the way out, i left through the front door as i left my truck at the IP. there were about 6 black hookers catching ppl as they were leaving, i think because the night club closed so lots of ppl were leaving at that time. some of these hookers were pretty hot, some were fat. a fat (fat hooker = FH) one grabbed my arm and pulled me over.

FH: hey, where you going?
s: ummmm.... to my truck
fh: can i come with you?
s: ummmm.... naaa
fh: why not?
S: why?
fh: well, i wanna give a real nice treat in your truck
s: naaa, im broke
fh: less than 100?
s: sorry, im not interested
fh: ill give you a great treat for only $20
s: (now thinking because she is ~cute for a fat chick, and i def would like a BJ, and fuck its only $20) so i say, BBBJNQNS? (hooker talk for bare back blow job, no quit no spit).
fh: not for 20, you got 40?
s: (still obv wanting a BJ, i come to my senses) naaa, would def like to but i cant, sorry....


then i just walked away, and the whole drive home i kinda regretted it, obv BJs are awesome and i pretty much always want one, i mean im sure she would had taken the 20 and swallowed my load. also wondered if she would had gotten to mad, i if asked to talk to her hot friends. and obv wondering if they would for $20 as well.. lol i doubt it... oh well.

i heard old school locals telling stories that the best way to get the cheapest hookers was to get the ones who have pimps, and to meet them 5-6 am in from of casinos when they are trying to make their quota. i hear in front of the bellagio fountain is the best spot. never tried though... i always wanted to be the 1st guy of the night , not the 10th.. if you know what i mean.

sorry for the long boring story about our boring night (sorry dave i know it was your last night here... sux for you).

one more quick thing.. AWESOME news imo...

as most of you probably know, johnnybax and rizen signed with UB (one of 2 online poker sites that actually got busted being rigged - both owned by same company).

obv i think it is a bad idea for top well known honest guys to accept payment to bring back customers and help fix UB's damaged rep. i think it sucks that a site's only punishment for allowing games to be rigged for such a long time and then denying it as long as they possibly could to be having to just pay back what was stolen if they got caught. annie duke did say UB's revenues werent affected, which sucks ass imo.





btw i think duke is gonna be on the next p5 podcast.

Short Announcement Regarding UB

After a lot of reflection and thought, I have decided to separate myself from the Ultimate Bet brand. I hope that everyone will respect my privacy, as I wish to not go into the decision in any great detail at this time. At this point in time I just believe that the things I'm trying to accomplish in my career are not in sync with the Ultimate Bet brand.
