not much to write about

made another final table the other day, in the late FTP $150, 2nd time i have made that final table... i went out 9th... made 1 bad play that made me desparate early at the FT.... with 2 tables left i was chip leader and lost almost all my chips in a huge pot AK vs QQ i hit the K he hit the Q.... if i win that pot i dont think anyone could had done much to stop me... oh well... i have been really disgruntled lately, and tend to not write when i dont have good things to write about... lucko has talked me into playing less tables at a time, so im trying that, and if i dont snap out of my slump soon, i will go back to my very boring bread and butter sng games. i just dont want to.... i know im capable in MTTs and dont want to quit.

hopefully i will have something positive to write about soon.... gl all... hope everyone had a good christmas...

had a very rough day... i was so stressed and so tilted, i blew $241 in the 10r on stars. i got real deep, i busted in that in 61st place... unfortunately i still lost money.

i final tabled 2 tournaments today but didnt do well at either final table. as a matter of fact i still lost money on the day (i played everything).

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

this is the 30r on UB, i was an alternate, i got in so late i only played like 2 hands in the rebuy hour. this tourney is cool because you can do that and you can take a double rebuy right away and start with T4500, then they have double add ons as well.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

and this is the 8pm UB $109 that i have been playing lately... good tournament... slow structure and T2500 to start. UB has several $109's a day. i think i will be keeping money on that site, although i hate their software with a passion.

soon i have to win something... im getting stressed out constantly getting so close, while my bankroll is going down... i dont want to have to play sngs, MTTs are so much more fun... i want this to work.

before i get into the final table i made yesterday, i want to mention that i got close to making one on FTP yesterday as well...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

i think i mentioned it yesterday that i had FT the day before as well... a cheap 4th place.

almost got one today as well, i got very unlucky to not make it, shorties doubled every time (about 6 times), then i get sucked out on, then lose another all in with a shorty then i run into AA all on the FT bubble.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

now onto the rebuy tourney....

i think i played this tourney well. i will go over a few key hands... im gonna copy kevin's style (blog page) a little bit, and see how i like it...i know this isnt a win, but i feel i played my best game in this tourney. unlike kevin i dont snap many screen shots while playing, so i loaded my HH file in pokerXfacter's replayer, and i will provide a link so anyone can watch the whole tourney if they like.

i started the 2nd hour here, i am in it for $709

my 1st double up... i deserve this btw....

======

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

this guy thought i was stealing and attempted a resteal.... hmmm i wonder if this is how he got his chips?

===============

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

well i guess this guy is definitely a blind defender... maybe he did get his chips this way, but we know for sure this is how he lost them... hmmmm... ty sir.

=============

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

this is a big hand... it tells the table im not gonna be ran over, and tells them to be careful of me. i tried to steal the blinds, this dude calls.... he leads out for 8k, in my pot? wtf... i re-pop him to 20k committing almost half my stack making me look very strong, it was a 2.5 times reraise as well... you can not do this against any opponant. he folds, and i win a nice pot.... notice who is on the button? its the winner of this tourney from the day before.

=========

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

this is just a few hands later, and you also at some point need to tell the table to stay off of your blinds... or mattg will rape you all night.. trust me i know.

=========

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

another sweet pot... dude pushed on me and i had the hand...

==============

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

sorry kevin, i hate doing this to you.... esp since i didnt win...

==============

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

last hand.... while at the final table, i couldnt even play a hand... table was very aggressive, and i couldnt get a hand... i was card dead, and maybe i played a lil to tight, and this push may be questionable, i could had waited another orbit, and hope i could find something better that i could get 1st in with.

--

i believe if you wanted you can watch the whole tourney at pxf as long as you register with them for the free account. here is the link for this tourney:

100r whole tourney in replayer

i might take a look at the other final table i made a few days ago.. i know i made a very embarrassing play with 2 tables left... but i had a huge stack before that play... it might make an interesting post later... i will watch it in the replayer and see if i can find something worth writing about. unless i get a win or something in the mean time.. seems like i keep getting very close... its gotta come soon right??????

Thursday, December 14, 2006

lucko came to town, and bloggers.

when people come to town and i play a lot live, i tend to ignore my blog a bit. i played the blogger tourney at caesars and did real shitty. then me and lucko went to the venetian $200 tourney later on that night. i busted in the 1st level, we had like $3.5k to start i think

i was in mid position, and everyone limped to me, i had AK clubs, so i make it 6 times the BB for $300. kid right behind me immediately made it $600, everyone else folds i call. flop was Qxx 2 clubs, i check he bets $800, i go all in.... he calls with JJ, and it held.

lucko also busted out early. we then went to the blooger think at IP for a few drinks. although we had been drinking for a while already.... we got to learn all about watches and blogs, kinda very boring, so we went downstairs to play drunk 1/2nl. lucko was super aggressive and i had position on him, i think i busted him 2 times with bottom pair.. heh. also busted smokkee who appears to tilt and get angry... heheh... i had a lot of fun.. it was awesome, i also doubled up like 4 ppl including smokkee, my stack was between 100 and 700 up and down the whole time,

when i had about $550, i had AK and raised preflop, some dude had limped in already, and he called. flop came AKx, he checks i bet, he calls, turn is a blank, he checks i bet , he calls. river is an A, he leads out for a 100, i push (he has me covered), he calls and i double with the nuts. he had something like AT.

but i lost a pot just as big at caesars a few days later when i flopped the nuts against some donkey who hit a running flush... he had flopped top pair. i had a straight. i always have horrible luck at caesars must be rigged for action there. hehe...

oh yeah, we also played the binions $340 tourney which is televised and you start with 6k and and it has a great blind structure. but we both busted early there too... i will prob play that more often... they also have it in a $600 buyin.
while at binions we played a little cash as well... they only had 1/2nl but they had guys buying in huge.. one dude sat with $8k. made things interesting... anyways, it was a fun weekend... a long weekend.. hehe.

oh yeah (again) i made a final table last night, but i didnt take any screenshots.. i got 4th.. kinda sucked... but i will take the $2400. lucko won the 100r last night for 25k, and my buddy from plus one, who is winning everything he touches right now, won the 100r 2 nights ago. i am a bit jealous, but very happy for then, they both really deserved a huge win.

Sunday, December 03, 2006

i can cash, but not close 'em out.

well, i played 11 MTTs today.... cashed 5 of them (nothing great though), still in one but not doing so great.... im getting frusterated that i am not making any final tables lately uuuugh. i have a few hands saved up and a few finishes i would like brag about a little.

i really liked the way i played this hand, at first i just called because i wasnt so sure about the EP min raiser. as soon as the shorty reraised all in, and the EP guy didnt try to isolate or get more money in the pot, i knew i absolutely had to be ahead of him, great spot to push, IMO.

i thought this was an interesting hand, on the flop, i thought until my time was about out. i thought strongly about both raising and folding, i finally decided to call and make my choice on the turn. i am not sure if that was a horrible call or not. but the free card was awesome. the guy who called my raise on the river was dabest247, we played at the same table in almost every tourney i played today. man was he over agressive in blind defense, sucked out on me in a huge pot, like i need to double him.

ok, thats all the hands i saved the last few days.. i want to talk about a few tourneys i did well in. 1st in a PLO 8/B. i have played O8/B but never in PL, this was a $100 buy in, small tourney.. but since it is a new game to me i gotta brag about making the final table.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

also tonight was the blogger tourney, it is every few weeks and it is a $75 buyin. this week only 13 people played for some reason.. not sure why. anyways, i won it. i played it 3 times and won it 2 times. you will see lucko was 2nd.. he also won it 2 times i believe.

ok... slump buster...

still not playing sngs, and still playing mtts. i got 27th in the $10r/55k tonight, very close to a big win, 1st is over $14,000. there was over 1700 people in it tonight.

i havent been playing much lately, just havent really felt like it, lot of other things going on, and havent been in the right mind set. and when i have been playing, i have been losing a lot. tonight was my 1st positive night in a long time... feels wierd saying that, because a month and a half ago, almost every night was positive for a long period of time. i may have to go back to sngs again, if i dont start getting more consistant in mtts. mtts are just much more fun, so im gonna give it a fair shot. and even if i do go back to sngs, i will prob try and play 1 mtt a day.... i love the ftp $150 double stack.

ok, now for the slump buster.... lets hope this is the beginning of an awesome mtt run.
there is a tourney i tried about a week and a half ago, it is a pot limit omaha $22 rebuy with 10 min blinds, it is on stars, and i think it is daily. since my 1st time playing it, i played it 3 more times, and i always enjoyed the hell out of it. not only was it fun, but i cashed it 2 of those 4 times. AND tonight i won it for $3500.
the funny thing is, i really have no experience playing PLO, i have played it maybe 5 or 6 times, all for a short period before this. the funny thing is, the very 1st time i played PLO about 15 months ago, it was a live tourney with about 35 people, it was a cheapy (i think $25), but i won it too. i was so lost that night.

tonight's:

i actually for a second thought about playing this because the big all in could had been an isolation reraise against the desparate shorty, but then i quickly realized, that dude shoved his chips super fast, and i have enough chips to wait.... so even though i thought about it, i decided quickly that it wasnt worth calling and hoping for AK. obv i am happy with my choice.

weak fold? i dont know.... 1st of all i had several tables going at this time so it made it easier to just fold it, kinda scary board, but is it in a raised pot? hmmmm... what do you guys think? just so much he could have here, and remember how bad the players are in these.

sorry for no posts, but..

mag from theplusone is here in town and we have been playing live.... i have been doing better than i thought i would... i never really felt comfortable at a cash game table, but have been lately, and having a good time.... and doing descent.

we also had a interesting a fun experience at treasures.... a strip club that i now like.

we might play the bellegio $500 tourney, but maybe not... depends how we are feeling and how busy i am at work...

Wednesday, November 08, 2006

well... a few close calls....

i really have a lot more fun playing MTTs, maybe i will just play them until a bad run, then jump back into sngs...

i got 8th in the FTP $150+13 today, and 22nd in the stars 150+12.. ugggh thought today was going to be my day... oh well... maybe next time..i feel a big win coming soon......

another questionable hand...the turn call was a little hard for me, i prob should had pushed here, but the way he so quickly jammed the river, i just had a gut feeling he had nothing, as he obv seemed like he did not want a call..... this pot was huge for me in this tourney. i like my river call, not so much the turn call.
one thing for sure... i dont think i am as weak tight as i used to be...

but the way i looked at it was, i seriously doubt , by the way he played it, that he had a bigger pair than me. maybe, just maybe TT or JJ, and even slimmer chance of QQ, but by the way this hand was played i was very confident he had AQ or AK, and i made a good read and i was right. and i had enough chips to risk a coinflip. i made this call very quick.... was it a bad call? i did make a bad call with JT shortly after this (got 2-1, but was against KK), and ppl were nervous to push when i was in a pot.. good result. winning this hand made me chip leader.

a few things to discuss.....

i was still running very bad in sngs.. didnt loose nearly as much, but about maybe another 2500 or so, so i quit again. i didnt play any majors today, but played a few MTTs today... i am going to play MTTs all week until friday or so, should be a good change of pace... plus they are more fun anyways...

but before i get to far into that lets look at a few hands i saved 1st from sngs.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

i thought this was a good call, but i was wrong after looking it up on sngpt.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

---

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

questionable call? i play this guy a lot, and he is kinda bad player.... and i thought for a while before calling... just had a feeling, because he does this to me to much...

----

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

interesting hand... is this a bad play? i really dont think i should be risking all my chips so early... but i also didnt expect him to call with nothing. i had to figure to have a lot of outs plus fold equity.. right? im not sure what i should had done , the flop bet is to much to just call. and this hand is to big to fold, isnt it?

----

i played the blogger big gmae today, and took 1st out of 22 for $718.50 , i bubbled 2 other tourneys so this was the only one i cashed. i ended the day up $366

here is an awesome call i made...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Monday, October 30, 2006

well... mixed results today

over all today i made $439, but i got slaughtered in the 100's and killed the 200's. which the 200's caused me all my pain last week. cause i did good in the 500's last week and still lost a fortune.

lets go over some hands.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

in this hand i kinda wanted to call, but couldnt make myself do it... actually not call but go all in... but if i went all in he has to call. so it is basically the same thing as him pushing and me calling. i entered that into sngPT and it told me if he is pushing any 2 (which he was) i need 77+,AJo+,ATs+,KQs (8%)to call, so it was a good fold.

===

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

now here, i was thinking i had to push with any 2, and hoped he folded but i know he would have a huge calling range.... i entered this into sngPT giving him a calling range of :22+,A2s+,A3o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs - im not sure this is loose enough, i do have over 4 BBs so, he is not calling any 2. any thoughts on his calling range here?

if this is a good range, my push was still wrong... results were:Push hands: 22+,A2+,K2+,Q2+,J2+,T3o+,T2s+,93o+,92s+,84o+,82s+,74o+,72s+,63o+,62s+,53o+,52s+,43o,42s+,32s (91%)

and if we loosen him up a little i have to tighten up.

====
i still made a few mistakes today.. but ill do better tomarrow...

and i hate KK

well... not much else to post..... besides if i dont have a good week, im quitting sngs. hehe

Sunday, October 29, 2006

sorry for no posts

i had by far my worst week ever last week, i lost about 8k, and i decided to take some time off.... i will be playing agan in a day or 2....

Sunday, October 22, 2006

week end totals

sngs +$4071
MTTs -$1795
------------------
total +$2276

i played several mtts today, and did not cash in any, bubbled 2, but that doesnt really matter. i am trying to qualify for the pca, played a $650, and a $175 tourneys to try to get in today... lost them both.

i did play another $500 sng today.... so far i have played 3 and cashed 3.... madsen's railbirds are complete assholes.... plus last time i was heads up with him , bad beat me 2 times straight and once he was dominated to take the win... so beating him felt good. some guys even bet on us.... i had him out chipped 2-1 and some dude gave another guy 2-1 odds if i won.... and he took it. i am not sure on the total they came to, but at least i had one guy cheering for me... heh. but i did lose most of my chips 2 times, before coming back to win it.

i will play stars million and the ftp 250k tomarrow... maybe stars 2nd chance.. not sure.

$3212

well the title of the post is dedicated to today... but i will get into that in a minute...

lets do an update of the beginning of the week..... i struggled bad both monday and tuesday, but i played so many i finally made both days barely positive.. made 280 mon & 395 tues, played about 30 sngs each day. bubbled a ton on monday.

today i played 16 sngs, cashed 11 for a profit of $3212.... i also bought some W$ so i can get a discount trying to qualify for stars' pca.. some live tourney by some water.....pca info...

in one sng i played today with phil gordon i lost most of my chips very early.. i had a Q high flush vs an A high flush, i was left with 40 chips, all 9 ppl still in.
blinds were 40/80, and i came back to get 3rd.

i played my 2nd $500 sng today, got 3rd.. i think my bank roll is big enough to play them more often now...

btw.. this is part of the reason these are so profitable....
donkey wins a big hand

well... off to rail a friend deep in the 55k... gl

sunday results and a few hands of interest.

interesting day with a lot of potential that didnt pan out... i cashed the stars million, got close in the stars 2nd chance, and bubbled ftp's 500K. the stars million was using a new structure where we start with alot more chips, but i am pretty sure the structure was sped up a lot. i play 9 sngs today, only cashed 1... got 1st, but i lost about $1400 today between the MTTs and the SNGs.

ok some hands. from the stars million

those are all the hands i saved today.... over all bad day.. but one day im final tabling a major.. i promise.

week totals

made about 500 today, but with the whole week considered i only made $128 this week.. hehe

think i will prob play the stars million and the ftp 200k tomarrow.. not 100% sure yet.

pokerroom along with the whole ongame network is looking like they will cancel all US customers.... which sux, because i have always liked playing there. just put in a request to withdraw all my money on those sites.

Friday, October 13, 2006

good thing i did not take today off....

my best day ever playing sngs. +$3818, which almost makes up for the whole week... i feel so good right now.. heh

i just got my rakeback from last moth , it was $1398. and i just cleared the last of the $500 bonus today. also.. i already posted it, but in the beginning of the month i got $1340 (i think) for the leaderboard bonus. so $3238 just from bonuses in 1 month... very awesome.

anyways.... some stats from today...

18 sngs
9 were 100's , 9 were 200's
8 were reg speed, 10 were turbo

i cashed 10 of them , 4 cashed were from the 100's

a total of 7 1st places, 3 2nds, no 3rds.= awesome night...

jhgjtdghfdcikutujtdfuj

4 straight negative days for a loss of about $4k. im running so bad, it seems like someone is playing a joke on me. im taking $5k off of FTP and playing somewhere else. i will probably take tomarrow off. play a few MTTs the next few days, play a few sngs at stars. see if i can get anything going. i will not play the sat for the wpt while i am running this bad. everytime i play cash i get fucked too... last few times i flop the nuts and the other dude fills up.

nevermind about taking tomarrow off, it is usually my best day to play... if i lose tomarrow i will take the weekend off, then play MTTs next week and sngs at stars for a few days and screw the FTP leaderboard. and come back to FTP towards the end of next week or something.

i hate poker....

today was one of those days... if i had an over pair to the flop usually QQ+, someone had a baby set... guess ppl like calling raises in a short stack game with 22-66. if all in preflop, my AA and KK were losing to 99 and TT all day. if i was a desparate short stack and was forced to make a move, one of the blinds were for sure were going to have AA or KK. stressful day, and one of my worst days ever... between the majors and and sngs, i am down about $1560...

last few days

well... a few days ago i had a break even day, the next day i made a little over 200, then yesterday i made about $1500. for the week i made $2900 which includes losing about 600 in cash games and winning a little in MTTs.

yesterday i played my 1st ever $500 sng, and got 2nd... playing those are over my bankroll, but i could not resist, many bad players were in already. look at the sharkscope of them:

i was planning to play a wpt prelim event today, it was a $2k buyin, but i decided last night that i didnt really feel like it... now i wish i went.. no way i can shower and get to the bellagio in 30min though. i am so damn lazy. i will probably still play the super sat next saturday.

soooo... because i decided not to play the wpt thing today, i decided to get up a lil early and play the big deal at pokerroom... but my dumbass got up 10 min late... i thought it started at 11:30, but it started at 11:00.... and i was watching TV in bed for an hour too.... oops.... maybe next time.

im gonna play the million at stars today, and the 200k at FTP... not sure what else.

work and poker...

i have been working my ass off lately... so i havent been able to play much.. so i may not make it as high on the FTP sng leaderboard as i thought i would. i have been really busting my ass.... but that means i will make a lot of money....which is prob a good thing.... depending on what happens with online poker and the law... because i have been making plenty playing poker where i really dont have to work....

today was the limit event for the cardplayer league... the play was a joke... i had several monster hands, and i guess everyone thought since they cant lose their whole stack in one hand that they would play any 2 cards, and call bets and raises with under pairs, and call bets and raises with any possible runner runner draw.... anyways all my big hands got suckout on, and i was prob like the 5 or 6th out.. not sure.. i didnt look, because these shitty players were pissing me off. one faggot was playing any 2 cards no matter what and catching every hand... or a lot of hands anyways. i bet his luck didnt last...

sngs... i played 13 and cashed 8, for a profit of $1,180.

didnt play anything else.

im tired and i have to get up super early tomarrow. gn

the LP on the internet gaming bill.

For Immediate Release Oct 4, 2006

Congress Chooses to Legislate Morality with Internet Gambling Ban

Tens of Millions of Americans Dealt a Losing Hand

(Washington, D.C.) Over the past weekend, a bill was passed by Congress that essentially bans Internet gambling within the United States.

Tennessee Senator and supposed presidential hopeful, Bill Frist, snuck the legislation into a port security bill which passed with only two dissenting votes. The new regulations, which will go into effect when George W. Bush signs the bill, will ban wire transfers to online gaming companies.

Supporters of the legislation accuse online gaming companies of being involved in money laundering operations and, according to the Washington Post, even fronts for terrorist groups.

"This goes beyond the absurd," exclaimed Shane Cory, executive director of the Libertarian National Committee. "Using the supposed War on Terror in defense of this legislation designed to legislate morality is sickening. Using this same reasoning, Congress should close Vegas as 9/11 Hijacker Mohamed Atta made a least two trips to the 'Sin City' before setting out to murder thousands of Americans."

In addition to citing money laundering and terrorism as excuses for the new Internet restrictions championed by Republican politicians, proponents also state that online gambling targets children and gambling addicts.

"Once again, we see politicians in Washington attempting to protect us from what they see as wrong in this world. I have news for them: Americans are smart people who can take care of themselves AND their children," continued Cory. "In restricting Internet activities, I think it would make much more sense to ban instant messaging within Congressional offices rather than ban the online hobbies of millions of tax-paying citizens."

The Libertarian Party is working to stop poor legislation such as the ban on Internet gambling by electing principled and reasoned Libertarian leaders to public office at the local, state and federal levels of government.

im kinda drunk

yeah... today was the monthly libertarian meeting... i showed up early so i could go over the business stuff with them as well... if i show up as early the next few months i get to vote on shit... not that i really need to... but i want to help... so i can so i did my part to fight for our freedom... not just for online poker, but for about everything... i have been pretty upset over the real ID act for sometime too. they are haveing another rally tomaorrw afternoon on one of the busiest street corners in town... not sure if i can make it or not... i will try.... but i do have the cardplayer tourney to worry about as well as i have a busy day at work.... so who knows what ill do.

because the mothly meeting is in a bar, i was drinking the whole time.. and i think i had to much.... but i came home and fit in 6 sngs.. and made $900 so not to bad.

oh yeah... a hot chick that none of us have met before showed up, and she said she was just busted for solicitation (she said she was an escort)... i wouldnt mind trying her out... i mean she was smokin!!!!... mmmmmm!!!!.... i may not see her again, because she lives in san francisco and was just here for a little while... i guess one of her good friends from back home is a libertarian and told her to come to the meeting while in town... not sure why.... but... i wanna be her friend.. hehe

im going to bed... goood night.

you know whats's awesome?????

today sucked, and im still pissed.

i lost $614 playing 2/4nl cash game... assholes kept getting sets, and never folding their draws... assholes.

at sngs i lost $838 today.... so a horrible day

whats really sucks is things are looking worse and worse for online poker. i did spam a few forums with libertarian stuff... and i ran into a few others doing it too... so others also veiw them as the answer. i really hope voters show up to the polls pissed... americans need to make a stand sooner or later,,, rather than just saying oh well... like usual. people on P5s are acting like they want to have a march on DC... but no one seems to be organizing anything yet... if something gets organized, i will for sure make it down... as well as contact the national LP to see if they could help in any way, or campaign there.

i just got mod status at the local LP forum, but no one goes there, i need to try and get the forum active.... prob wont be easy, but might be fun... maybe i will try to drag people from the local news paper forum, or something.... dont know still thinking about this one.

hmmmmmm........ oh yeah.... i qualified on FTP for some 30k free roll, but cant find where to claim a ticket or an entry, and i dont see the tourney in the lobby... its called the ironman... i think it is supposed to be next saturday, and im not sure if im going to play it. there is a wpt event at the bellagio, and sat has a $1500 tourney i was thinking about playing, but every night has a $1000 2nd chance tourney.... i bet the $1500 has a better structure and i should play that one.. i believe it starts at noon.... then the following sat i am strongly considering entering the $1000 super sat to the main event.

oh yeah FTP sent me the bonus for the leaderboard today.. it was $1320...

gl every one...

The big Sunday tourneys

I only played the big Sunday tourneys today.. No sngs... I am a little burned out, and my head isn't in the game anymore, so I quit early today. I played wcoop main event, didn't cash.... Made a few mistakes I guess, got ran over a lot later.... Made a few good folds I think. My biggest issue today was... Almost all my continuation bets were getting check raised, or rehearsed.... The c-bet was -ev today. I played the party million, which I cashed for a little over 600, played FTP 250k guaranteed, cashed for 500 something. Played the pokerroom $162 buy in.... Forget whats its called... Didn't cash, but got close. So all in all, today wasn't very good, but better than it could had been. I am disappointed in myself for not doing better in the wcoop.

I have saved a few HHs from today.

more on politics... pacific poker apparently is shutting off all US customers, and party poker is expected to do the same, because it is a public traded company. it may be the end of online poker.... remember to register to vote and make those responsible pay for what they are doing to us.

lets kick some ass next week.... if we still have online poker...

Frequently asked questions about the Libertarian Party

What is a Libertarian?

Libertarians believe that you have the right to live your life as you wish, without the government interfering -- as long as you don’t violate the rights of others. Politically, this means Libertarians favor rolling back the size and cost of government, and eliminating laws that stifle the economy and control people’s personal choices.

Are Libertarians liberal or conservative?

Libertarians are neither. Unlike liberals or conservatives, Libertarians advocate a high degree of both personal and economic liberty. For example, Libertarians agree with conservatives about freedom in economic matters, so we're in favor of lowering taxes, slashing bureaucratic regulation of business, and charitable -- rather than government -- welfare. But Libertarians also agree with liberals on personal tolerance, so we're in favor of people’s right to choose their own personal habits and lifestyles.

In a sense, Libertarians “borrow” from both sides to come up with a logical and consistent whole -- but without the exceptions and broken promises of Republican and Democratic politicians. That's why we call ourselves the Party of Principle.

How large is the Libertarian Party?

By almost every objective measure, the Libertarian Party is the third-largest political party in America. We’re active in all 50 states and have more than 200,000 registered voters, which is more than all other third parties combined.

What kind of offices do Libertarians hold?

Around the USA there are Libertarian mayors, county executives, county council members and even a Libertarian sheriff! Libertarians also serve on school boards and in hundreds of local offices. In 2004 our candidates for U.S. earned over 1 million votes for the third time in a row, which is a feat no other third party has achieved.

These elected Libertarians are already hard at work saving you money and protecting your civil liberties. In fact, Libertarians saved Americans over $2.2 billion in 2004 alone.

What kind of people join the Libertarian Party?

People like you. People who used to be Republicans, Democrats, and independents – from all walks of life. They joined us because they realize that we’re the only political party working for their personal and economic liberty.

Another question we sometimes hear: Is political extremist Lyndon LaRouche in the Libertarian Party? No. LaRouche has never been associated in any way with us. He runs for office as a Democrat.

How can I join the party?

It is free to join the Libertarian Party. But if you donate $25, you receive a subscription to our monthly newspaper LP News and help finance our work to spread the word about the Libertarian Party. With your help, we can keep the media informed; run Internet, radio, and magazine advertisements; send information to more Americans; support Libertarian candidates in winnable races; promote pro-freedom legislation at the federal and state level; provide resources to our state organizations; and more.

Ask yourself: Is government too big or too small? Are taxes too high or too low? Does the government regulate my business too much or too little? Does the government control my personal life too much or not enough? If you agree, like most Americans, that government is too large, too expensive, and meddles too much, the Libertarian Party is for you!

Now it’s time to take action. Join the Libertarian Party today – and become part of the new choice in American politics!

======================================================

well.... didnt play much today

i woke up pissed hearing about the online gambling ban was passed attached to the port security bill.... our govt is tyrannizing us with the terrorism card... like i have said before, we are more likely to get hit by lightning... so why all the fuss, and why destroy our rights... the ppl have lost all control of the US govt. i am doing all i can... i vote libertarian (the only political party that cares about our rights), and i try to help out the local party as much as i can. we have a long road ahead of us... but i did make the rally today. i am sure we can find ways to still play, but will the bad players go through the hassle to still play? this greatly effects me and a lot of people. govt does not listen to the people. we need to make them.

i played a few sngs today and ended a negative 235. was having a bad day and getting frusterated and such so i stopped before i lost more.

i also played the 100 seat guarenteed sat for the wcoop main event, which is a $2,600 buy in MTT. i did win my seat, so i will be playing that tomarrow. 1st place is expected to be about a million. gl me.

also work is picking up... so it seems i will be working more.... prob a good thing if online poker is on its last legg....

week end total = +$3,895 from sngs. i did lose $1655 playing mtts. and $2 lost from cash games for a total profit of:

$2,238

i didnt count the buy in or the sat win for the $2600 tourney im playing tomarrow,,, i will count that next week so it dont screw up my results.

gl everyone

tonight was awesome, and what to do tomarrow.

tonight i only played sngs again, and had my best night ever. and it came very close to being so much better, as i bubbled 3 sngs (all were 200's), where i had a lot of chips and took multiple bad beats to bust - the last one was very frusterating because i had 2 bad beats in a row to cripple me, then i worked my way back up to chip leader, then ran into AA to get crippled, built back up to 2nd place, then took a bad beat to get crippled, then pushed with j8 and the caller had 77, i flopped a J and an 8, river was a 7..... a very frusterating bubble, just to have some donk tell me how horrible i am... but that always makes me laugh...... anyways i finished the night up $2,759, playing 22 sngs cashing in 12. a had a 8 sng stretch where i cashed 7 with 4 1sts.

tomarrow i have to work, i have 2 appointments... i always try to take saturdays off, but for some reason i never get to... its gay and it sucks... here i am complaining and i didnt even go to work today.. hehe, is that a sign of true laziness? i hope so because i love being lazy. i blew off the libertarian rally i was supposed to go to last wed afternoon, but they are having another tomarrow: noon - 4:00, maybe i will stop by, maybe i will come home after work... i am more likely to take the lazy way out... there is also a 100 seat guarenteed sat tomarrow afternoon for the $2600 buy in wcoop ME, which i would love to play. i think i will try that sat... should not be to difficult, my chances of getting a seat should be a solid 30% i would think. if i bust out, maybe i will try a few double shoot outs, because i want to play that so bad.

i am still in 4th on the FTP sng leader board, and the 3rd spot is still to high for me to reach, but i think i am far enough ahead above 5th to keep my 4th place spot. its been an awesome month, and i hope to finish it off with a bang tomarrow.

thanks... and gl...

a break even day

well im up $97.... it was another bad beat ridden day.... cant wait till i get 3 or 4 good days in a row with fair cards... bad runs really wear on me...

i only played sngs today.. played 31 of them. i did move up to spot 4 on the leader board, which if i am still in that position at the end of the month FTP gives like a $1320 bonus. i should also be getting awesome rakeback this month, but my rakeback provider wont pay me for a few weeks. i should be getting $1200 or $1300 for that this month... if i do as good next month at sngs i expect to get higher on the leaderboard and prob 20-40% more rakeback.

something is wrong with this blog site, i am struggling getting stuff posted. it is actually really pissing me off.

btw i got 8th in the cardplayer league yesterday, no money but good points for the tourney of champs. <---- is gay and a waste of time i think.... but kinda fun...

forgot to mention

the league thing i played yesterday.... i got 8th, but only 40 something ppl played, so nothing to brag about... top 5 cashed... but it is good for points. i think it is filled with a bunch of fags...

rough day.....

i played a ton if sngs... 31 of them tonight.... just wasnt my day.... big pairs werent holding, my big flushes were losing to straight flushes and my flopped straights were getting drawn out on.... you know the kind of day im talking about... we all get them. anyways i lost $1256 today.... its a rollar coaster of a game thats for sure... i am still 5th on the FTP sng high leader board.. 4th has quite a bit more points then me, i probably wont be able to catch him. i played maybe 45 minutes of cash today, yes 2/4nl again, and broke even. it was a short handed very aggressive table, i probably am not ready to be playing a table like that, so i am happy with breaking even, especially cause i was down like 60 almost immediately.

i love screwing with the beggars...... i prob should send this to FTP get his chat banned, as they are a nuisance.

oh yeah.... forgot to mention this....

tomarrow is cardplayer's 1st day of the 3rd season league... i got drafted on the plus 1 team called da p1mps. we will destroy the other teams.. i even sent $10 for a table of champions.... the thing is, there is no money in these games and they will take me away from games where i could make money. i really think i should play them for the fun though. it is always fun to play against friends. i am supposed to go to a libertarian rally tomarrow though.... hmmmmm.... i guess i can go to the ralley for a few hours and come back and play the tourney... or i can just be lazy and dont go to the rally.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM......................

today i destroyed FTP..... im glad i got my issue resolved with them..... because if i didnt i would not had played there tonight, i only played sngs. +2187.00. and i am 5th on the FTP sng high leader board.

here is a cool hand.. the situation was perfect to reraise with any 2 cards, as the short stack's presence usually will make the 1st raiser fold all but the very strongest hands. he was supposed to fold, and not supposed to have QQ oops... and GG sir,

dissapointing day

i got somewhat deep in the wcoop, but didnt cash... i busted out early in every other sunday major i played. i played party, UB , and FTP. playing sngs i lost $290.
it was one of those days where if i have someone dominated i will prob lose the hand. i had 4 5th places in a row.... poor lucko had like 4 million bubbles today.. poor guy. we are both running bad.

i didnt play any cash games.... but if the sngs dont pick up for me soon, i might concentrate more on cash. its just hard after i killed them for 2 and a half weeks...

lets kick some ass tomarrow....

ok ok ok ok...

so... i played 24 sngs today and cashed 11 for $1042 profit.... unfortunately that doesnt make up for my day yesterday where i lost an almost unbelieveable amount of $1714 for my worst day ever. i think because i did good today, i will play tomarrow's wcoop event (well really today's). it is a $1050 buy in, which is really to steep for me, but i cashed the one i played last sunday for about $2200, so thats how i am gonna justify it.

here is a hand i saved today....

i play hands like this a lot and it really doesnt matter what cards i have... although bigger cards help in case you get called by a small pair... which btw is rare on the bubble of a sng. look at the money in the pot, i cant let these smaller stacks build up... none of them want to bust 1st... apply the pressure. i love having chips on the bubble, and i love it even more when there is a baby stack as well... i will push any2 non- stop, then do everything in my power to keep the baby stack in still while i bleed the med stacks.

here is a hand i believe i misplayed... i think i should had pushed here....

after playing the hand i copied the HH so i could enter it into sng power tools and see what the $ev is for a push here on the button. i entered both the sb and the bb's ranges as 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+ which i think is more than fair, they may even be a little tighter than that, because they dont have to double up now. anyways sngPT said with that range, blinds and stack sizes my $ev to push for a$110 sng is about +$3.60, and stated that it is close enough that both a push and a fold is acceptable here. so i guess.... will the blinds be tighter in this spot than the range i gave them??? i think i should had pushed. its hard to say, but im the shortest stack and i need to pick up chips fast. btw, i did not cash this one.

==================================

cash game.... i played a little 2/4nl today while i was waiting for my last few sngs to end. made like $560 in an hour or so.... i won a big hand towards the end of the session then i ended up tightening up way to much because i was short handed in one sng and HU in another, so it was hard to pay close enough attention in the cash game.

here is a picture of the big hand, it is from FTP's gay HH thing so no details.. but all the money went in on the river, or most anyways... i took him for a little over $400

===============================
in the cash game one of the good sng players followed me there..... he is a real cool guy, and i also was talking alot to another great player at the tables today... might be worth inviting them to the forum i post at...

===========

i gotta get to sleep if im to play any majors tomaorrow (i meant later today).

HEY, CAN ANYONE HELP ME with the hand converter... the pictures for the cards wont show up here....i get red X's. thanks

gl everyone...

yuck

today was one of those nasty days where nothing seems to go right. i played 21 sngs, 13 were 200's the rest were 100's. i only cashed 5 of them, no 1st places. down a lot more than i made yesterday... ouch this hurts... guess i cant always run good... i dont want to bore you with details at this point, but in future posts i will try to post some interesting hands and stuff.

played 2/4nl just for about 30 min, was up about 150 then some retard made a stupid call, and i had to pay him off on river and i lost a big chunk of the proft... left only up $20, which is gay. only played this table to pass time while finishing up my last 2 sngs... i quit a little early tonight due to my shitty performance/bad day.

if i dont do good tomarrow i think i am gonna pass up the majors on sunday... at least the big one on stars.

i am gonna try to update this blog daily... sorry for my horrible writing skills and spelling... GG govt schools.
